For a narrower search, type keywords in two or more fields. This is equivalent to an 'AND' statement
E.g. 'Ferranti' in MAKER field and 'Pegasus' in BRAND NAME. |
To search on a broader range of dates, e.g. by decade
Type a '%' after the decade year in the DATE field, for example:
'195%' - to retrieve all records with a date of manufacture in the 1950s Note: The database comprises material dating from the post 1940s. |
